- Mr. Potter is the main adversary of "It's a Wonderful Life". He is a cruel businessman. For reasons unknown, Mr. Potter is confined to a wheelchair and always has the same mute bodyguard pushing it for him. Of course, it is because of real-life disabilities of his actor, Lionel Barrymore.
Mr. Potter's intentions are to take over Peter Bailey's Building and Loan.
