Toht's most iconic line
Major Arnold Ernst Toht, or simply Toht, is the secondary antagonist in the 1981 action-adventure film Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.
He was a ruthless Gestapo Major and Nazi Agent. Just like any other Nazi, he was loyal to the Führer (Adolf Hitler). He has been described as a megalomaniacal psychopath. He was central in the Nazi's effort to reclaim the Ark of the Covenant in 1936. However the power of the Ark overwhelmed him, and he died because of it.
He was portrayed by the late Ronald Lacey.
