Jack Napier, better and later known as The Joker, is the main antagonist of the 1989 Batman movie. He was portrayed by Jack Nicholson, who also portrayed Jack Torrance in the 1980 film, The Shining and Colonel Nathan R. Jessup in the 1992 film, A Few Good Men.
