Gavin is the (former) main antagonist of Ice Age: Collision Course. He is Roger and Gertie's father.
He was voiced by Nick Offerman, who later voiced Norman in the musical film Sing.

- Gavin was the first main antagonist of an Ice Age movie who redeems himself.
- Gavin is the sixth Ice Age antagonist to fly, the fifth being Silas, the fourth being The Quetzalcoatlus, the third being The Lone Gunslinger, the second being the other Dodos and the first being Dab.
- Gavin's voice actor Nick Offerman is co-stars with Aziz Ansari, who played Squint who is one of Gutt's henchmen from Ice Age 4 on Parks and Recreation.
