- Amber Von Tussle is the secondary antagonist of the 1988 and 2007 film versions of the film "Hairspray". She is the rival of Tracy Turnblad, both for Miss Teenage Hairspray and for her boyfriend Link Larkin. She is a spoiled brat and the daughter of Velma and Franklin Von Tussle (in the 2007 film, she doesn't appear to have a father). Her actresses are Colleen Fitzpatrick (later known by her stagename Vitamin C) in 1988 and Brittany Snow in 2007.
In the 2007 film, after falling from a raised throne, she eventually accepts that she lost the prize to a preteenaged black girl and a non-candidate named L'il Inez Stubbs.
